Our Story
We're Dan and Sacha, a husband/wife team from Dublin, Ireland. We originally started this company making glasses for healthy screen habits. Over time, we’ve evolved into a brand dedicated to crafting functional eyewear designed for athletic performance, productive work, and better sleep.
We believe these three pillars are essential for high-achieving individuals, and our glasses are built to help people unlock their full potential.
Humble beginnings
Our first "office"
We started Ambr Eyewear (everambr's previous name) from our kitchen table in Dublin, Ireland. Within a few days of launch, we went viral in the national media. We quickly outgrew the kitchen and found this very, very tiny office (and windowless) near our apartment!

Our first store
Things escalated quickly. So much so that in 2019 we opened our first store in Dublin City. Although it was a pop-up, the store ran for almost 8 weeks during the Christmas period and got a lot of attention. This wasn't only due to the glasses perhaps, maybe the late night parties also had something to do with it....
Going global
Awards and expansion
By the time 2020 rolled around, we had both left our jobs to solely concentrate on building our eyewear brand. Ambr Eyewear at this time was mostly concentrated on blue light glasses, but we were adding more products like prescription and sunglasses.

We opened a second store during lockdown....maybe not the wisest in hindsight!
A new direction
Pursuing positivity
Experiencing this considerable change during and post-pandemic had a pretty profound effect on not only our business, but us personally. We dealt with the turbulence by positively impacting the things we had full control over, ourselves.
Better sleep, long runs, healthy eating and just general good habits became crucial in maintaining positivity, productivity and momentum.
We were looking for inspiration on where to take Ambr Eyewear and was borne from this.

Our first (and only) television ad
During the pandemic, we produced this ad that got shown across national television. We're still proud of it and think it's an interesting time capsule of that crazy time!
